Our story
No warehouse. No minimum order. No venture capital. No plan.
Just shirts we wanted to exist.
KRED Threads started because we kept hearing sayings that deserved to be on a shirt, and nobody was printing them. So we started printing them.
That's still the whole business. Someone says something at a barbecue, or in a group chat, or across a worksite, and it's too good to leave in the air. The good ones become artwork you can wear.
How a shirt actually happens
-
01
Somebody says it
Usually not to be clever. Not my circus, not my monkeys is an old Polish way of saying this particular disaster has nothing to do with you and you will not be helping. It took about nine seconds to decide that belonged on a shirt.
-
02
It becomes artwork
Original artwork every time — drawn for the line, not pulled off a clip-art site. If it reads badly on a colour, that colour comes out of the range for that design. There's no point putting a shirt out on a colour that makes it look cheap.
-
03
You choose where it goes
Graphic on the front, or graphic across the back. The other side stays plain. Same design, two completely different attitudes.
-
04
Then it gets printed
Your shirt is printed after you order it, then sent to you. We make to order rather than holding finished stock; available garment colours and sizes can change.
Front or back — your call
Choose the placement that suits you. We offer both because the same artwork can feel different on the front and the back.
Wear the artwork up front where it does the talking. Or put it on the back, so it's the kind of statement that waits until you've walked past.
The choice sits on every product page.
The label stays quiet so the shirt can be loud.
The name's job is to not wink, so the shirt can. It's the only design rule we've stuck to.
The unglamorous detail
- The blank
- Premium tees — mid-weight, hold their shape, survive the wash. We'll add other quality blanks as the range grows.
- The print
- Printed to order
- The range
- A run of colours chosen per design, XS to 5XL depending on the style
- The care
- Cold wash, inside out, never iron the print. It'll outlast the joke.
Got one?
If you've got a saying that belongs on a shirt, send it over. We review suggestions for future designs — seeing what people come up with is the fun part.
